Hart & Stone's name came from my middle name, Hartwell, combined with the word "stone", because I use stones in much of my jewelry, and I've always loved the phrase "you have a heart of stone." I wanted to find a way to emphasize the "hart" part of Hart & Stone. And so, I created this line of products with the intention of inspiring you to always follow your heart, to chase your wildest dreams and longings.

Sometimes, following your heart can look big and bold - taking a risk on something new or doing the unexpected. But I believe that following your heart in small ways, moment to moment, is equally important. Simple daily acts of speaking your truth, honouring your desires, being your whole self, or expressing your creativity, are just as potent.
